MSurveying provided comprehensive independent monitoring surveying services for a full planning development scheme on Station Road, which involved adding three levels above an existing building to create 12 additional apartments using a lightweight frame. Our involvement began with an initial report that included an appraisal of the development costs, benchmarking, and a thorough review of planning and conditions. We also conducted a detailed programme review and assessed all statutory consents.

Throughout the project, we reviewed the S106 agreement, monitored road closures, and interfaced with nearby developments regarding utility and road connections. Our team also assessed complex planning discharge conditions and stringent building control requirements, mainly related to fire safety, ensuring that these were reported to and understood by the funder. By providing ongoing monitoring and monthly updates, MSurveying maintained the project’s timeline and quality standards, safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders involved.
